Due to the passing of Andy Biersack’s grand father,Black Veil Brides have been forced to cancel several dates of their tour in Europe. Read a statement from Biersack below, as well as the cancelled dates.
“I am sorry to say that due to the recent passing of my grandfather I will not be able to complete the final week of this current tour. I feel it is necessary for my own grief and heart that I take this time to attend his funeral and celebrate his life with my family and loved ones before I head back into the studio to resume work on our next record. We promise to make up any dates missed the next time we are in this part of the world. We would like to thank Motley Crue and Slash for having us on tour with them…it was truly a dream come true.
Thank you so much for understanding…I love you all very much and will see you again soon.”
The canceled dates are:
- 6/18 – Paris, FR @ Le Zenith w/Motley Crue
- 6/20 – Bamberg, DE @ Stechert Arena w/Motley Crue & Slash
- 6/21 – Basel, CH @ St Jakobshalle w/Motley Crue & Slash
- 6/22 – Strasbourg, FR @ La Laiterie

Jake Pitts, guitarist for Black Veil Brides, revealed that the band is already working on a new album and plan to enter the studio sometime in April.
Heres what he said:
“We send things back and forth to work on each other’s ideas. We’re all constantly writing for this next record. Set The World On Fire only came out on June 14, it’s amazing that we’re already making plans for another one but it’s important to stay relevant. As long as we’re making great songs I have no problem with the pace at all … We are in the very beginnings of the process still but we’re due in a studio sometime from April to June.”
